A Peek at Life 
I have an irrational dread of Durban cockroaches, always terrified of them; there, I admitted it. Even these photos send a little shiver up my spine. Yuck!
I loathe cockroaches. I had a friend who would pick them up and chuck them out the window, used to freak me out.
I remember staying a friends (nameless) overnight and getting up in the middle of the night to go to the loo and on passing the kitchen was completely overrun with what appeared to be thousands of cockroaches eeek! horror!. They had left (lots of) food out on the table and the cockroaches thought this was a good thing. I never had the heart to tell them for fear of embarrassing them. So the lesson to be learned NEVER leave food out for cockroaches! Same goes for mice when living in a Victorian Terrace in London!
