Growin’ in the Wind (summer)

The garden seems to have come together rather beautifully this summer, with very little help from me. Flowers shimmer against shades of green and birds flit from branch to branch. It rained last night and in this morning’s early light, the garden sparkled.

Lovely pictures Cathy, I would like to get in touch with you, not sure if Michael mentioned that Mum is starting a cruise off from Cape Town tomorrow morning and had been hoping to make contact herself – Judy Lyons nee Knipp, her mother was Marge sister to your father Ted. Regards Heather.
ps We have been wondering how your mother is ?

      Hi Heather

Thanks for your comment on my blog – unfortunately I’ve only just seen it now (Feb 12th). I would have loved to have made contact with your mum while she was in SA but I guess that she has left already. Mike never mentioned her visit to me. Such a pity to have missed her.

My mum is much better but spends most of her time in bed. I think she’s just really tired now of making any effort. It’s quite depressing but at least she’s not unwell.

Lovely to hear from you. I have sent you an email – please let me know if you receive it. Best wishes, Cathy
